David Jiménez

Engineer, Solar

David Jiménez is a member of the engineering team as solar engineer at Renewable Power Capital Ltd. Prior to joining RPC, he spent 6 years in Atalaya Generación. His last role was Project Engineer where he was responsible for developing photovoltaics, the wind and pumped hydro energy storage projects. He was responsible for designing the layout, energy production, electrical calculation, grid code compliance using the leading software. Prior to this, for four years, David worked in the formation area at CIRCE Research Center.

He holds an industrial electronics engineer bachelor’s degree from the Universidad de Zaragoza, a European master in renewable energy from the Instituto Universitario de Investigación Mixto CIRCE – Universidad de Zaragoza and a master’s degree in nanostructured materials for nanotechnology applications from the Universidad de Zaragoza.
