What’s your role at RPC?

I’m a Construction Project Manager, this means I’m responsible for the projects from the "Ready to Build" stage to successful completion. My role includes overseeing the construction process, ensuring its smooth execution, and achieving 100% operational and completed status.

What’s a typical working day for you?

A typical working day for me as a Construction Project Manager is dynamic and multifaceted. I begin by reviewing the previous day's project progress and comparing it with the planned schedule, ensuring alignment. Coordinating with various teams and ensuring resource availability is a key part of my day. I also lead meetings with stakeholders such as construction contractors, collaborating closely with them to address any issues or challenges that arise. In addition, conducting frequent site visits allows me to closely monitor the construction progress and ensure everything is on track.

What have you found during your time at RPC?

During my time at RPC, I have discovered a transformative experience in my career transition from the Oil & Gas industry to the renewable energy sector. Joining RPC has been a pivotal moment as they provided me with the perfect opportunity to pursue my passion for renewable energy. The company's commitment to employee growth and learning, coupled with a motivating work environment, has truly stood out. The collaborative atmosphere among team members fosters a sense of unity and allows us to work together seamlessly towards our common goal of building a sustainable future.

What’s your proudest career moment?

Witnessing the successful generation of the first kilowatt-hour of electricity from one of the wind farms we are constructing in Sweden, even ahead of our planned schedule. This milestone marked not only a significant achievement for our team but also a remarkable moment for RPC as it marked our entry into electricity production in this country.

What do you do in your spare time?

One of my favourite pastimes is spending quality time with my family and friends. Another passion of mine is oil painting, as it allows me to express my creativity and brings me relaxation. Additionally, I enjoy hiking, where I can connect with the outdoors and appreciate the beauty of nature.

Where’s your favourite place in Europe?

I don't have a specific favourite place in Europe, but one region that holds a special meaning for me is Brittany in France. I had the opportunity to go on a road trip there with my wife, and it was an unforgettable experience. Beautiful landscapes, rich history, delicious crepes, and captivating destinations like Mont Saint-Michel.

What’s your favourite clean technology and why?

My favourite clean technology is onshore wind power. I find it particularly appealing as it combines various disciplines such as civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering, making it attractive to me as an engineer. I also like the fact that onshore wind projects are often located in remote mountainous areas. Witnessing nature being transformed into renewable energy is truly fascinating.
