Alberto Baena

Electrical Engineer

Alberto has over 20 years of experience in electrical installations and photovoltaic projects, his major experience is in Iberdrola group for 16 years, mainly in the engineering of big photovoltaic plants in Spain, Mexico, South Africa, Italy and other countries in addition to the construction, tendering for EPC projects and negotiating technical issues in contracts of GW with equipment suppliers. He has been involved in innovative projects as combining photovoltaic energy with energy storage to comply grid code in Puerto Rico, analyzing behavior of photovoltaic modules in experimental installations or improving designs in big photovoltaic plants.

Prior to Iberdrola, Alberto worked in different companies focused on installations in buildings or on the land, realizing the engineering of the electrical and photovoltaic part.

Alberto holds a master´s degree in industrial engineering specialty of electricity by Universidad de Valladolid.
