Vitberget is located in the western part of Kramfors municipality. The wind power area is approximately 2 km south of Västansjö and 4 km northwest of Mjövattnet. From west to east, the wind power area includes Vitberget, Glasberget, and Björtjärnskullen.
Public consultations were conducted in 2012-2013, and permit application documents were submitted in 2014. Since 2018, there has been a valid permit for 35 wind turbines with a total height of 205 meters at Vitberget and Glasberget and a total height of 185 meters in the east at Björntjärnskullen. The wind power park is planned to include 24 wind turbine

How will I be affected as local resident?
RPC is committed to minimizing any potential impact on local residents. Before and during construction, we conduct thorough assessments to address concerns related to noise, visual impact, and other factors. We also engage in open communication with the community to keep everyone informed about the project's progress.
How does construction of the wind farms work?
The construction process involves several stages, including site preparation, foundation installation, turbine assembly, and grid connection. Our construction activities adhere to strict environmental and safety standards. We keep the community informed about construction timelines and potential disruptions, ensuring a transparent and collaborative approach.
How does the wind farm benefit the local economy?
The wind farm contributes to the local economy by creating jobs during construction and operation phases. Additionally, we often engage local suppliers and services, fostering economic growth in the community.
How does RPC’s wind farms contribute to Sweden’s national renewable energy goals?
Our wind farm plays a crucial role in advancing Sweden's renewable energy targets and the decarbonization of European industries. By generating clean electricity, we contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and support the transition to a more sustainable and resilient energy landscape.
