After an intense period of work throughout the spring and summer, RPC is proud to announce that all 80 turbines in Project High Coast have now been erected and installed, marking one of the project’s key milestones so far: the completion of the construction phase and main turbine installations.
The final installation took place at Sörlidberget, where the last turbine was recently delivered and assembled. The focus now shifts to testing and fine-tuning the turbines ahead of grid connection. Progress is furthest at Knäsjöberget and Storhöjden, with Sörlidberget and Vitberget following shortly behind. In parallel, restoration and landscaping work continues along roads and hardstands across all sites.
With full commissioning scheduled for early 2026, Project High Coast remains on track. Together, the four parks have a total capacity of 553.4 MW and will deliver renewable energy – sufficient to supply more than 182,000 homes, representing an important step in RPC’s long-term commitment to wind power in Sweden.
